Our Foundation Story

Lisa King · Triumphant Life via Jesus Christ

KING WORLDWIDE began with a radical encounter with God in 2012.

I had pursued everything I knew to pursue in search of a triumphant life. By the world’s standards, I was successful, yet I still had questions that achievement could not answer. When I got before God, I heard Him speak to my heart: I needed to get into His Word to know His voice.

I began reading the New Testament verse by verse in the King James and Amplified translations. What began as a seven-day commitment grew to ten days, then twenty-one, and eventually a year of studying the Word. For three years, I gave God a tithe of my time each day.

Through that fellowship, He radically changed me. I came to know Him as my closest friend, learned to recognize His voice, and experienced a flourishing life rooted in His direction.

Later, when my mother began experiencing debilitating symptoms and could no longer communicate what she was going through, our assignment became deeply personal. I paused my mentoring work to care for her and prayerfully pursue her freedom from what we understood as spiritual bondage connected to past trauma.

That season deepened our understanding of dependence on Jesus, the renewing of the mind, and standing in faith through difficult circumstances.

Our teaching grows out of our life with Him. We share our testimony of His guidance, protection, healing, and freedom, and help others grow in their own relationship with Him.

This is the heart of KING WORLDWIDE: knowing Jesus, abiding in Him, and living and sharing the triumphant way of life via Jesus Christ.
