Within Mind Free, Sally’s Secret explores the experiences Sally and Lisa described, the questions they pursued, the sources they consulted, and their Christian understanding of freedom through Jesus Christ.
The fuller testimony will be presented in Sally’s own words and through the recollections, records, and source material gathered during the journey. Personal interpretations and disputed claims will be identified as such rather than presented as independently established fact.
Jesus is King.
Some of the most meaningful signs were beautifully ordinary: the surprise belly laughs Sally and Lisa shared, Sally asking for her covers in “one layer,” her distinctive “Hi, Lisa,” and “Lisa, are you ready to watch our show?” Lisa remembers these moments as signs that Sally felt increasingly safe, connected, known and loved.
Walking into Sunday school, Sally would reach for Lisa’s hand. They loved holding hands. For Lisa, those moments represented something monumental: connection, security and unconditional love.
In the final weeks of Sally’s life, Lisa recalls Sally disclosing that she had been afraid to speak because she believed people she loved could be harmed. This page preserves that disclosure as Sally’s reported experience. The fuller testimony will distinguish what Sally said, what Lisa observed, documentary material, and interpretations developed during their investigation.

At the center of Sally’s Secret is the Christian conviction that darkness is not equal to Jesus Christ. Lisa’s testimony emphasizes relationship with Jesus Himself, Father God and Holy Spirit, immersion in the Word of God, prayer, love, and guarding the mind from influences that pull it away from truth.
